    A Labor Day weekend Celebration of Fine Visual Arts and Handcrafted goods in beautiful Cañon City.  Happening in one of Colorado’s top tourist destinations during one of the busiest holiday weekends of the year.  This extravaganza features the works of more than 60 juried artists with the eclectic mix running the gamut from paintings, sculptures and glasswork to photography, ceramics, woodwork, as well as a huge selection of handcrafted goods.  

    Veterans Park is centrally located in the heart of vibrant Cañon City and attracts a very high flow customer traffic.  This beautiful park is highly visible and right at the entrance to Town and along the road to the Royal Gorge Bridge which is the nation's highest suspension bridge, more than 1,000 feet above the Arkansas River.  Cañon City is one of Colorado top destinations for both tourists and locals.   This area is a major tourist hot spot as it also features a railroad passenger train, a Riverwalk, wineries, art galleries, antique shops, museums, dinosaur fossils, awesome hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing, zip lining, river rafting, scenic drives, a Tunnel Road and a wonderful historic walkable Downtown with great specialty shops and restaurants.  This free event will also feature some great live music.
